We discovered The Kilburn through the website Bridlington Holidays and what a gem we have found! This is definitely one guest house we will be returning to. Upon arrival we enjoyed a lovely cup of tea whilst sat in their wonderful bar. When we arrived It was a little early for a drink but we certainly made use of it later. The hosts billy and Jan were simply fantastic and the home cooked food was delicious. We requested a ground floor room as my husband has arthritis in his hips. The room and bed were so comfortable and we had a lovely night’s sleep which refreshed us ready for our beautifully cooked large breakfast. The breakfast being the best we have ever experienced in our many years of staying away. Jan and Billy were constantly making sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible pointing us in the right direction for a few visits to the local attractions. We were even able to park in their ample sized car park situated at the rear. If you haven’t stayed at the Kilburn yet we thoroughly recommended that you do. We went as guests and left as friends. We will be back.
This guest house is quite simply the best!
From the moment we entered the Kilburn bed and breakfast, to the minute we left to go home , our stay at the Kilburn was nothing but amazing….. We were met by Billy the owner, at the door after we had parked in his ample car park, and immediately offered coffee/tea which after a long journey was very welcoming….then we were given our key and taken to our first floor room which was on suite . This room was beautiful, with a large comfortable bed, really nice furniture with good sized television, and tea and coffee with snacks,. large enough bathroom with fresh towels every day and bathrobes…. The food was homely and well cooked and well presented It had everything that we would require and more…. There was a nice bar and comfortable lounge area., but the thing we liked the most was the fact that Billy and Jan made us feel so at home and nothing was too much trouble. Over all we could find no fault in this bed and breakfast and we highly recommend the Kilburn to any one, and we will definitely be back…..Thanks to Billy and Jan for making our stay a fabulous one…….. from Stuart and Lynn Taylor.xx
I’ve stayed at this guest house and it is very good billy and jan are two of the best and cant do enough for you exellent place to stay handy for the centre of bridlington the meals are second to none my wife and i were traveling round the area and just stopping different spots every night but billy and jen made us so welcome we stayed for more night and had a good look round the area
The breakfast is first class, everything is on offer from cereal, yoghurt, fruit juices, teas coffees and of course the full English…not to be missed. Close to the town centre within walking distance and all on a level. The dining room lounge and bar areas are great for relaxing in and again are maintained to a high standard. I have recommended this B & B to many people all of whom are of the same opinion. Many returning year after year. Highly recommended.
We arrived three hours early asked if we could just drop off our luggage and go for a meal, they said room is ready to take a seat in lounge and brought us a tray of tea and biscuits while our luggage was taken to our room told we could settle in whenever. Very friendly hosts couldn’t do enough for us, we arrived as guests left as friends.
The cooked breakfast was amazing and kept us going all day also had evening meal which was also excellent. Keep up the good work Jan and Billy
